These terms are an agreement between you and Korel ("we", "us"), the operator of applao. By creating an account or using applao you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Who we are

applao is a product operated by Korel. You can reach us any time at support@usekorel.com, and we aim to reply within two working days.

Business details. Korel, contact support@usekorel.com. Our full registered company name, number and address appear on your invoice and are available on request.

2. What applao does

applao takes a description of an application written in ordinary language, produces a draft ("sketch"), and — once you approve it — generates, tests and packages a working application. You can publish the result as a web link, a Windows application or an Android application.

applao uses third-party artificial intelligence models to generate applications. We may change which models we use in order to improve quality, speed or cost.

3. Your account

You may connect applao on one or more computers to your account. Each connected computer can spend credits from your balance. You can disconnect a computer at any time from your account page.

4. Credits and payment

Payments are handled by Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as the merchant of record and reseller for all purchases. Paddle handles payment, invoicing and any sales tax or VAT. Their terms apply to the payment itself. Prices are shown inclusive or exclusive of tax according to your location, as displayed at checkout.

Refunds are covered by our refund policy, which forms part of these terms.

5. The applications you create

You own what you make. The applications generated for you, including their source code, are yours to use, modify, publish and sell, with no restriction from us and no revenue share.

You are responsible for what your applications do, for the content you put in them, and for complying with any laws that apply to them — including data protection law if your application handles other people's personal information.

You keep ownership of anything you upload as reference material. You give us permission to process it only so far as is necessary to build your application.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use applao to create, host or distribute anything that:

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. Where we do so and credits remain unused through no fault of yours, we will refund them.

7. AI-generated output

applao writes software automatically. It tests its own work and repairs what it can, but automatically generated software can still contain mistakes. You should review anything you publish, and you should not rely on applao's output for safety-critical, medical, legal or financial decisions without a qualified person checking it.

Similar descriptions may produce similar applications for different customers. We do not promise that what is generated for you is unique.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep applao available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may add, change or remove features, and we may perform maintenance that makes the service briefly unavailable.

If we make a significant change to these terms we will tell you by email or in the product before it takes effect. Continuing to use applao after that means you accept the new terms.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows: applao is provided "as is"; we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business or loss of data; and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or £100.

10. Ending the agreement

You can stop using applao and close your account at any time by emailing support@usekorel.com. Closing your account does not automatically refund unused credits, except where our refund policy says otherwise.

We may end this agreement if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if we stop offering the service — in which case we will give you reasonable notice and refund unused credits.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of your home country.
